The term “Yan Technology” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 54 Tudor Close, London, NW3 4AG. Yan Technology is registered as a sole trader. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

1. Website subject use

1.1 The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

1.2 Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

1.3 Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

1.9 Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England and Wales.

2. Payment

2.1 We currently except cash, cheque, paypal (online order).

2.2 Future payment options will include Google Checkout, Amazon Payments in the near future.

2.3 If paying online please be aware that there is a 7% surcharge on the total price, charged by Paypal. This includes all Debit and Credit cards.

2.4 We accept all major brands of cards via Paypal.

2.5 All online payment issues will need to be taken up with Paypal.

3. Delivery

3.1 Yan Technology does not charge a delivery off the product by any of our technicians.

3.2 Its ordered over the internet will have two delivery charges; £10.00 for 1 - 2 working days. £5.00 for up to 5 working days.

3.3 Working days are classed as Monday - Friday not including national holidays. If you are not sure please contact us.

3.4 Please note we do not own a courier company and must on rely on other couriers to deliver the goods at a prompted time in safe working order.

4. Your right of cancellation

4.1 If a service/s has started you can not cancel.

4.2 If parts are order you are allowed to cancel but must pay the restocking fee of 20% of the total amount of goods ordered. This is to cover P&P, admin cost.

5. Warranty

5.1 Hardware warranty is taken out with the "Manufacturer" not with Yan Technology.

5.2 Software has no warranty, exceptions are; disc/disk broken or unreadable, key or serial number not valid.

5.3 Please keep a note of the Hardware/Software serial number. We are not responsible if the serial is damaged or missing.

5.4 We suggest you record the serial number of the Hardware on the Yan Technology invoice, in most cases the serial will be on the invoice already.

5.5 Yan Technology recording the serial number onto the invoice is a complimentary service, we are not responsible if we have forgotten to put it there.

5.6 Warranty must be taken out by the customer/s. Please contact the "Manufacturer".

5.7 Warranty involving BlackSwift PC's will be sorted out by Yan Technology, please contact us for help.

5.8 Customer/s will be charged the postage, service fee, etc of the "Manufacturer". Yan Technology will not be responsible for any fees accrued.

5.9 If security seals on BlackSwift PC's are broken, your warranty maybe voided. Please do not break them or remove them.

5.10 "Manufacturer" seals must not be broken, damaged, removed, warranty will be voided.

5.11 Yan Technology is not responsible for accidental damage or theft.

5.12 We are not responsible for damage caused by natural disasters, fire, water, etc.

6. Data Protection

6.1 Data will automatically be saved onto our servers when doing a data transfer, recovery or backup service.

6.2 Data will remain on our servers for up to 60 days to give customers peace of mind.

6.3 You can opt-out of this free service at anytime, please tell a technician.

6.4 If data is opted out please note we are not responsible for any data loss caused by Yan Technology or customer/s.

6.5 If you would like to keep your data on our servers longer that 60 days please contact us for pricing or view the pricing page on our website.

6.6 Data is protected with a password that only the technician knows. Software and Hardware firewalls are in place to protect all data.

6.7 Technicians do not go through any of your personal data, we take your privacy very serious.

6.8 Property is under lock and key at all times, with a deadbolt.

6.9 We are not responsible for the loss of data caused by natural disasters, fire, water, etc.

7. Images

7.1 All Images on Yan Technology's website are owned by Yan Technology.

7.2 Please do not copy the images that are placed on the website.

7.3 If an external image is placed on our website we will put the source on it.

8. Returns

8.1 Services can not be returned.

8.2 Software once opened, can not be returned.

8.3 Hardware once opened, can not be returned.

8.3 If Hardware/Software is not opened, a 20% restocking fee will apply on the final price.

8.4 Return length is 7 working days from the date on the receipt.

8.5 This does not affect your statuary rights as a buyer.

8.6 Ebay returns, please view ebay T&C below.

8.7 Customer/s must pay for all return costs.

8.8 Customer/s is responsible for item till it is reached back to Yan Technology.

8.9 If posting item back to use, please insure you have posted it via tracking number. Tracking service can included; Royal Mail SD, Recorded, couriers.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

9.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Trading law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the British courts.

10. Price Match

10.1 Price match does not include company's outside of London.

10.2 Price match does not include companies without a company number.

10.3 We will require evidence in the form of a website or contact detail.

10.4 Price match does not include other companies discounts/special offers or vouchers.

10.5 If you would like the price match please inform a technician before the service is started or we may not be able to match the cost.

10.6 Price match is on services only, does not included software and hardware sales.


 

Ebay Terms and Conditions Arrow Down

These Terms and Conditions are for buying and selling on ebay and do not this affect your statutory rights.

1. General

1.1 All our products are brand new unless stated.

1.2 Seller is not responsible for lost or damaged packages if uninsured.

1.3 Serious bidder only! Your bid is contract. Do not bid if you do not agree to all terms in this auction.

1.4 We reserve the right to cancel bids from a bidder.

1.5 You will be contacted via email within 12 hours after auction ends.

 

2. Payment

2.1 Immediate PayPal payment is required.

2.2 If using Paypal please contact me ASAP or it will cost you more money. Due to surcharge costs.

2.3 Payment must be received within 5 days of the auction closing.

2.4 If no contact or payment if made, negative feedback will be left along with filing a non-paying bidder.

2.5 There are some exceptions and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

2.6 Personal checks must clear before item is sent.

2.7 If you pay via bankers or personal cheque please wait 7-10 working days to clear.

2.8 International bidders can only pay via paypal.

2.9 Please remember that there is 4% surcharge on purchases.

 

3. Shipping

3.1 Buyer pays for all postage costs.

3.2 The fee you pay includes the 1st Class or Courier weight fee. The cost of the envelope, address label, and/or other packaging materials. A contribution: to the staff time to pack and prepare the goods, the petrol costs to take the item to the main post office point, ink from printers, insurance to protect us from missing, stolen and fraudulent transactions.

3.3 The item is shipped within 1-3 business day upon receipt of payment to the UK, 7 – 10 days for all Worldwide shipping.

3.4 Please check Shipping cost.

3.5 If you are buying more than one item I will allow a discount on postage.

3.6 If NO insurance is paid for in shipping. Don’t come to me for a refund I will not cover you!

3.7 I do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays unless you need it URGENT!

3.8 FROM THE 8TH OF APRIL 2007 THE ROYAL MAIL POST OFFICE WILL BE INCREASING THERE POSTAGE COST. THEREFORE POSTAGE COST WILL BE UP BY A BIT.

3.9 International Sellers MUST PUT INSURANCE ON THE PRODUCT if not than I will not cover or send the by insurance!

3.10 I know do not post of Thursdays as my local post office does not open now, this will start from the 07 September 2007 till further notice. I will post item on Friday so please remember that your item may be 1 day late due to this.

4.2 Questions submitted by email will be answered as quickly as possible.

4.3 Please make the subject of your email the title and auction number of the item you are asking about.

4.4 Please contact us first to resolve any issuer before leaving negative feedback.

 

5. Return

5.1 If a return is approved, the bidder pays for the return shipping cost.

5.2 25% re stocking fee if applied on both item and packaging cost.

5.3 If you product comes under the electronic section you will have to contact the manufacture to RMA it. Please email me if this is the case.

5.4 Returns are only allowed if the product is not what is in the product description.

5.5 A Return will not be approved if the item is not compatible with your other product or you.

5.6 You must have a valid reason for a return with proof.

5.7 If a sealed item is opened i will not give refund

 

6. Last but not least

6.1 Make sure you read the entire auction carefully!

6.2 If I feel you are messing around or are not being serious I have the right to refuse service to you.

6.3 Please email me it’s the only way to contact me!

6.4 I will have evidence of postage so don’t try it!

2.14 Yan Technology has the right to refuse this service to customer/s that abuse it.

1. Remote Support

1.1 Yan Technology uses services like "Logmein", "TeamViewer", "Chrome" to remotely assist you.

1.2 There are no limits on how many times a customer can use this service.

1.3 This offer is on a trial bases and if it is popular it will be used for a lot of repairs at a low cost of £20.00.

1.4 The customer/s is fully responsible for passwords and username confidentiality.

1.5 The customer/s must install the software themselves with the instructions given by Yan Technology.

1.6 The customer/s agrees to allow Yan Technology to take control of there PC and Yan Technology is not responsible for any errors or misaction that results in remote assistance.

1.7 Customer/s must have Broadband to use this service.

1.8 Customer/s must check their email inbox for remote passwords.

1.9 This service is not restricted, both Home and Business can use it.

1.10 You will get a £10.00 reduction off your invoice for each repair done.

1.11 If the repair can not be done via remote service then you will be booked in for a repair from our technician.

1.12 Remote assistance can not be used for Hardware faults, only Software.

1.14 Yan Technology has the right to refuse this service to customer/s that abuse it.

1.15 When a technician is on site he/she may install remote assistance on you PC/Laptop based on what services you require from Yan Technology.
